hex note?
i am looking at a print that has a leader pointing to a hex shaped feature that says "sw6". this may be a stupid question but can anyone tell me what this means?

no idea, initially i thought maybe it was a bad print and should be swg but that makes no sense.
kenat, probably the least qualified checker you'll ever meet...
is the "feature" a hole or boss, or a separate component, or just a reference to an area?
could it be an unusual attempt to specify a sfff">pot wfff">eld?
if you want to look at the print you can find the drawing here;
just guessing ... socket wrench 6mm a/f
check out the 3rd item on page 7 (sa400-v 24.5062). it seems to confirm my guess.
cbl,
makes sense, i'll "assume" that is what they mean and run with it. thanks.

the sw note definitely is the size of the hex. i believe sw means spanner width, but regardless, you know what it is.
