回复: PR #253044 construction a slot from two circles make pc-dmis crash
<< Dan Zwick -- 02/04/08 16:49:04>>
Well, I tried this today and I got neither a crash nor a weird slot. I did have some trouble with the simulator trying to execute the entire part program (it stopped sending data after the first circle), but I don't think that is related. If I executed up to and including the first circle and then executed the rest it worked fine. The circles are good and the slot is also good.
Could you try this again with the latest RC? Perhaps something has changed.

I tried this in simulate online mode with the data in the debug file. I didn't get a crash in 4..2R in the debugger, so I tried running the release configuration of pcdlrn.exe. It didn't crash either, but it did produce a really weird slot (see attached file). This data seems strange, though. A lot of of the points aren't even on the part. Did you calibrate the probe and align the part before measuring? If not, could you try it again?

Well, it certainly didn't crash in 4.3R. I'll try it in 4.2R.
