How does PCDMIS calculates the GD&T Form Profile?
<< Sea Chia Hui -- 10/21/05 17:30:07>>
Majority of Asia customers doing parts for Hewlett Packard has this major concern, how does PCDMIS calculates the Form Profile GD&T dimension?
Base on a profile measurement, seems that PCDMIS takes the difference between Max and Min from a set of points and total out the results of the actual profile
Please confirm if this is how PCDMIS calculates the profile?
Note:
User claim the true profile calculation should be "the worst of the points measured, the measured material condition error multiplied by 2". Is this according to the standard ISO GD&T calculation?

Could this be added in v40?
Reason this is a much needed feature now and we are losing orders because of this function

This has been addressed. The difference is ISO versus ASME.
