"basic" dynamic analysis references
anyone have any ideas for a good references for someone needing to firm up on dynamic analysis. this primarily relates to design of structures supporting machinery. thanks for you input!!
if you want a text book, google anil k. chopra.
william thomson theory of vibrations.
cheers
greg locock
biggs' structural dynamics, perhaps?
thanks everyone i'm going to check these out
if you have access to a library with engineering texts i recommend the shock and vibration handbooks. they cover the basics as well as in-depth theory and finally mitigation to typical shock and vibration problems.
of course, the volumes are too expensive to have on hand so the library is best.
