bridge decks
got a project in a high humidity environment. there are a series of air flow trenches (read walls) supporting a concrete slab.  from trench floor to underside of slab is 5 feet. i am looking to avoid life safety issues involved with traditional shoring, hence i am looking into using stay-in-place deck form.  i am aware of the products that vulcraft offers but due to the humidity issue the decking must be hot dipped galvanized. something like the decking used for bridges but not so big. any suggestions?

the steel forms will work for the slab portion, but i can not envision using it succesfully in the vertical for wall forms.
is it possible to use prestressed precast panels as many bridges do?  the precast panels can be up to 9 or 9'-6" wide and about 3"-4" thick.
stay-in-place forms have their place but in the bridge industry they are used with extreme prejudice as they limit the inspection of the concrete deck.  they also will typically deteriorate over time and may fall on something below.
