what are benefits and pitfalls to watch out for when using hydronic tubing heating in concrete slab on grade?
coordinating tubing, reinforcing, joints (if applicable).  getting a mechanical contractor with "successful" experience installing the system.
leaks if you have to shoot anything or drill anchors into the slab.
premature use of the heating system before the slab is fully cured.  
leaks, leaks, leaks!  be sure to pressure test the system before concrete topping is poured (either air or fluid).  have good supervision of the concrete pour so none of the pipe get damaged. then, after the concrete has cured, be sure the system is tested again.  the second test can be done at the time of start up.
