mesh steelcrete
i am reviewing an existing turbine hall roof for new loads. the roof construction consists of a concrete deck spanning between purlins that span to trusses. i have the original design drawings, dated march 5, 1930. the concrete deck is 3.5 inches thick and is reinforced with "3-13-125 mesh steelcrete". anyone have any idea or references for this product?

i had ran across this while looking for another book.  the amazing this is that i re
there seems to be a modern product called "steelcrete". here is information on it (in german... i believe)
thanks unclesyd. i ordered and received the book you referenced. it was exactly what i was looking for. in case anyone is interested mesh steelcrete is reinforcing in the form of sheets of steel with diamond shaped holes. the three number designation (3-13-125) refers to the width of the diamond (3"), the thickness of the mesh in stubbs gage (no. 13 stubbs), and the cross sectional area of the steel in square inches per foot of width (.125 sq in per foot). the book contains many useful tables. i was able to explicitly determine the strength of my roof (as original designed) based on info in the book.
