node velocities on a harmonic analysis
the output i have is only nodal displacements.is the maximum velocity the displacement multiplied by the angular frequency(rad/s) or by the frequency(hz)itself?
also,can someone explain it physically??why not the displacement divided by t(period)/4?

i don't think you can take a static displacement and get a maximum velocity using the natural frequency of your structure. what force or analysis did your displacements originate from?

i ´m taking displacements from the harmonic analysis, and i ´m multiplying it by the turbine´s frequency, not the structure natural frequency.
