precast concrete "bulb-tee and block" floor system
i am looking for design tables and information regarding a precast concrete bulb-tee and block floor system that was built in southern france about 15 years ago. i don't know the manufacturer or even if they are still in business. the precast bulb-tees span about 12' (4 meters) and are spaced about 18" (1/2 meter) on center. the spaces are then filled with precast concrete block and a cip concrete topping is placed over the system as the finished floor. i'm not sure of the depth of the system, but i believe it is on the order of 8" plus the topping.
any help would be appreciated.
here is some additional information on this existing system:
the "bulb tees" or beams are about 4" (10 cm) wide and spaced at 23" (59 cm) on center. their clear spans range from 9' (2.743 m) to 17' (5.18 m). concrete block are dropped in placed between the beams, the block are 18.9" (48 cm) x 7.9" (20 cm). a concrete topping slab is poured over the top of the system. the thickness of the block and the topping slab are unknown, but assumed to be 8" (20 cm) and 2" (5 cm).
does this system ring a bell with anyone? i'm looking for a manufacturer or load tables. thanks in advance for any information you might be able to pass along!
the system is known as beam and block in the uk, and is produced by more than one manufacturer.
