Analysis view created in 3.5 program is rotated 90 degrees in 4.2
<< Doug Sjogren -- 06/20/08 17:54:02>>
I will attach a program. I have also requested teh program in 3.5 format.
The analysis view is rotated 90 degrees and viewed on edge so it is not useful.

I have fixed this in V43B and V44B.

I have a solution for this based on what is being done in CHyperAnalCtrl4::OrientViewFromReportingData() for graphical analysis in the report templates. I am still testing but editing existing ANALYSISVIEW commands from the attached programs or creating new ones now draws in the correct view.

I have found the source of the problem: the viewset is set to the cutplane viewset in V40+, but the same "else if" block in V37 is commented out. The change in V40+ is related to 238659. I am looking for a solution that works for all versions.

I can duplicate this problem but I have not figured out what is causing it. I also looked at 255952 which is a reporting issue assigned to Steve Barber, but the rotation issue in that pr appears to be a different problem. Sent e-mail to Steve:
"Steve,
I’m not seeing the 90 degree rotation problem with their program even when running in V42 MR1. The problem shown in their PDF seems to be a different issue than 255562. All their graphical analysis plots are in the plane of the circles; the issue seems to be a rotation about the axis of the circle. In 255562, the problem is that the graphical analysis plot is not in the plane of the circle; the view is from the edge so the plot is useless unless manually rotated.

The original 3.5 program is attached and it works as ecpected, analysis views are oriented as created. In 4.1, 4.2 & 4.3 the analysis vbiews are rotated on edge.
