compiler error
i hope someone can assist.
i just came back from christmas holidays today and when i tried to run any of my sw macros, i get the following error:
"object library invalid or contains references to object definitions that could not be found"
i have checked the project references and all appear to be fine, no "missing" library references.
i downloaded and installed a fresh install of sw2008sp5.0 and still the same error message appears.
this is a major headache as i need the macros the finish off some projects.
the last thing i want to do is to wipe my hdd and re-install the os, so i hope someone can assist.
thanks,
declan.
answer hi all,
after much searching and screaming and my workstation, i found a solution. the issue was actually only affecting macros that had userforms.
see the following links for details.
ms08-070: vulnerabilities in visual basic 6.0 runtime extended files (activex controls) could allow remote code execution
hi declan,
this is completely unrelated to this thread. apologies for hijacking it.
i'm using a macro you wrote last year, and i'd like your advice on how to customize it more to my company's needs. i feel this macro could be very useful for my group.
could we possibly contact each other offline from this forum to discuss?
(the macro involves ui for entering config-specific cust props)
thank you,
