macro doesn't work on coworker's computer
i have a macro to edit custom properties. it's a simple form. it's works great on my machine.
why wouldn't my macro work on any of my coworker's machine?
1. solidworks macro?
2. can you open and edit this macro on coworkers machine?
3. do you get errors there.
need some symptoms before a diagnosis can be deduced.
i'll get you eh steve, if it's the last thing i dooooo!
yes i can edit it and run it on his machine, but it bugs out when loading. i tried on someone elses also and it didn't work. something about object needed. i'll have to take a look at it in a little bit. like i said it works great on my machine. i even tried to break it.
sounds like missing references.
it would be nice if vba could check for missing references and automatically reference them (provided they exist).
answer there was just a posting on the solidworks legion about this recently:
thank you. that fixed it!!!
i'm sorry. the question answered credit goes to charles. thank you.

even though it's my article he referenced? btw, if you are interested, there's a ton of macros on resources sites that you may be interested in (linked below in my signature and another great site here too: .lennyworks.com) good luck!
