hide sketches in drawing views
is there a macro out there that is capable of hiding all sketches in a relative view of a weldment drawing. the reason i ask is i am having problems with sketches from the hole wizard showing up in relative views that i create to single out a part in a weldment. these holes have nothing to do with the part that is trying to be captured in this view.
your help is much appreciated.

you can save the templete with he option sketches invisible.
cheers!

basically you want to select the sketch using selectbyid2 or whatever method you choose and then call swmodel.blanksketch
thanks all for your help! i will give the suggestions a try. the invisible sketches on the template may be the one i am looking for.
thanks again.

hi,
where do you find that option of making the sketches invisible on the templates

what do you mean by "invisible sketches on the templates" ? in your first post it mentions sketchs on model view items not templates...
this is an aside from api thou.
we created a drawing template that we use for 1:1 scales for plate to be cut. the problem i was having was i created a relative view of a body from a weldment and sketches from the hole wizard for cosmetic threads were appearing. in the earlier post swapnil mentioned that you could save the template with the option of making sletches invisible. thats what we were trying to do but can't find this option.
are there any macro you know of that you can select the view and hide all cosmetic threads. i did not want to globally set this in the document property as there are other sheets that we may need to show threads for drilling etc.
sorry for the confusion.
