solidworks labs unveils treehouse
has anyone tried this module yet?
i guess i don't really see the advantage of the add-in, cbl. so far nobody has reviewed it, either.
dan
a review hasn't been posted in the sw labs blog, but take a look at some of the other sw blogs around for their takes on it.
dan,
in its current form it would be of very little use to our company. we rarely start a project from scratch with empty files. you are not able to add any custom properties or existing files to the tree.
needs a lot more features to make it useful for us.
the user interface is pretty nice, i assume that is what sw may be testing out. would be good in a classroom environment for training new users about file dependencies. a chalk board would work for that though.
will be interesting to see if sw develops this into anything more then the very simple application it is today.
cheers,

it seems like it's geared for large corporations that have a lot of hoops to jump through.
