definition of thurst
i'm analyzing a tiedown for an aircraft. the thrust values given to me have two values. the first is in units of thrust (mil)-lbs and the second is in units of thrust (a/b)-lbs. can anyone tell me what the difference is?
one example for a f/a-18 engine is 10,606 thrust (mil)-lbs and 16,002 (a/b)-lbs.
a/b = afterburner
mil = military power = full engine thrust without afterburner |
