pt6 engine usage
my company operates a fleet of three kingair b200's equiped with pt6a-42 engines and we are trying to establish whether our (special missions) use is much different to the normal use. can anyone provide a typical mission profile for a b200 (or pt6a) in 'normal' use please?

i've seen many aircraft (including king air's) in many roles, such as low-level surveys. the "special mission" usage was not an issue. why is this a concern for you?
you could look up a "typical mission profile" in several places, but you'd never know what beech used unless you got it from them (not likely).
if your interest is in pt-6's, then you have another different question. pt-6 engines are used on lots of aircraft, from speedy piaggio's to sluggish twin otters. twin otters operate in every (i mean every) climate there is on earth, and for all purposes. king airs are subjected to similar punishment (though i doubt any will ever fly to the south pole).
