rotary elbow joint method for wire carrier.
i'm looking at a reasonably exposed rotary wire joint on a wire link which will need to tolerate an angular change of around 90deg. in the past i've dealt with this by careful wire path and cable selection which works ok but isn't structurally good as it takes a lot of space for the wire void (to allow motion of the cable).
has anyone successfully used slip-ring connections or other methods in a similar (wing mounted) environment which might allow more meat for the structure?
