big dig arrests
the next time your supplier gives you crappy concrete...
that's only 3.7% failure... i wonder if it meets any sort of aci acceptance...
dik
forgot to add... wonder how much it missed spec by?
dik
if they arrested everybody who delivered concrete over 90 minutes old i don't think there would be any suppliers left.  i guess it's different if they consistently and purposefully faked tickets.  3.7% doesn't sound too bad.
i'm a little concerned about the 'big' aka celebrity type trials... i suspect with the pr involved by the prosecutor, and the financial resources of the state, that if they ever wanted to go after someone... they could be in trouble.
in canada, concrete testing is laid out in the code and unless something is really out of whack, it can boil down to testing... the new csa a23 is essentially a performance driven code and mixes can be treated as proprietary without ever having to 'pass' anything... i don't know what the practice is in the us... or if it meets any criteria.
