why not build you own? code check is simple and all you need is allowable, actual stresses (about all axis).
unless i do not understand what you mean by code check. staad and other software packages will do code/unity checks as well. i would rather do simple ones by inspection or simple hand calculation.
good luck

i was thinking around a stand alone shareware / low-cost code check routine where i could input my forces / code check parameters and the software would give me an indication of the utilisations for the chosen section. perhaps i could even run it on my pda. yes i can start writing my own routine. it would take me a while to code in all the clauses / properties / relationships and build the logic to all the conditions to cover most of the possibilities. and then i have to get someone to validate it.
however i was hoping to take advantage of the existing systems already developed and tested by experts rather than start from scratch.
thanks

may i know whether steel pipe manufactured in accordance with astm a53 (cold-formed pipe) is suitable to be used as structural elements in building construction.
i appreciate any reply.
thank you.
