criteria for exploding transformer parts hitting a concrete
we have to investigate the structural effect of exploding transformer parts and burning oil that may be thrown against a concrete wall. anybody knows of any criteria out there for say, representative weights of exploding parts, velocity, etc?
thanks!
i believe you'll find something of interest with the requirements from the nuclear regulatory comission (nrc) and the piping industry.
i have seen numerous papers presented on the subject of pipes impacting concrete slabs. don't just think of loose pipes falling - think of pipes under pressure impacting. |
