psi to mph
i have a psi/sec impulse air blast test result that i would like to equate into a mph wind load - is there an easy formula for this?
a basic formula used to determine wind load on buildings is as follows:
q = 0.00256v^2
q = velocity pressure, psf
v = wind speed, mph
the constant of 0.00256 is a combination of the mass density of air at standard temperature and pressure and dimensions associated with wind speed of mph. |
