self weight of siporex roof panels?
i'm working on a shoring scheme for an older structure that utilizes siporex roof panels (approximately 4" thick). i can't seem to find any information on the self weight of this material. can anybody point me to a source for that information or does anybody know what it's density is?
thanks in advance.
we have actually done numerous checks on the siporex. it weighs approx. 10 psf for a 4" slab. keep in mind, it gets quite brittle, so i wouldn't be supporting directly to the slabs.
cheers

thanks for your info. luckily i have assumed something substantially higher for my calcs. we are supporting the panels parallel to each joist with a continuous member, so that the reactions are relatively low and distributed.
thanks again.
