weight of building materials and related online database
boy, would i like to a a link to a one-stop online database listing commonly-used buildng material weights!
over the years, i've put together a lot of links with *some* weight of building material data, but i keep losing it or it gets deleted or whatever.
i'd like to see such a database combined with a "typical" soil properties database, organized geographically.
dave, i share your dilema. i have been looking for years (when there is free time available; not very often) of a master list of dead loads. i have never been able to find everything im looking for in one place. so, i have begun keeping bits and pieces of building material weights to create my own master list. if you know of any links or you have any lists, let me know so i can include them in my list. whenever i finish it (god only knows how long), i'd be more than happy to share.
the spanish nte-ecg and nbe ae-88 codes both have lists for dead loads of building materials. except for storage of rare materials, one has rarely to look elsewhere. i am not aware of there being on-line ports of the code, but this i have not checked. if not and your worry about that is high enough, ask your book provider or librarian locate them, both are current codes. |
