macro starting another solidworks session
i have one machine here that has recently just had 2009 installed. this machine has both 2008 and 2009 on it.
ever since i installed 2009 on it, our macros no longer work within 2008. they work fine in 2009 however.
what happens is when 2008 is loaded, the user starts the macro, and its opening an additional "sldworks.exe" in the background in the task manager. then the macro's error trap errors with our message that "solidworks is not open".
this is only happening on this one machine, the other one i have works fine. only difference is the working machine is 64bit.

winxp 32 & 64bit
what versions of 08 and 09 are on each, and which are x32 and which are x64? also, have you altered any references in the macros? |
