i'm really impressed with the information im getting
i know this is a (101) question for you guy's and girls.
but anyway
i'm doing the tutor and kind of tired, so i went to save and got this message..
"drawing cannot be saved with an empty sketch"
just close out the sketch.
trust me, there are _lots_ of error messages you haven't seen yet.
i don't recall seeing that one. i'm guessing it means you've got a sketch open in a model, with nothing in it, and you're trying to save a drawing that includes a view of that model. if you see a ghostly arrow and x in the u/r corner of a screen, that means you're in the sketch editor. if it's empty, it should do no harm to hit the x and exit the sketch.

"drawing cannot be saved with an empty sketch"?!
i've been doing it wrong all this time...10 years!
(just kidding)
yes, plenty of errors, but not as many that i have seen in acad. nice thing with sw is that you will see an error and it will most of the time display in some form what/where it is.
acad mostly just tells you there is an error somewhere.
