swtools - new macro toolbar creator
the latest tool for solidworks is a handly little tray icon tool called swtools, that pops up and provides the user with as many taskbar buttons to run solidworks macros as they like.
having toolbar buttons outside of solidworks frees up the working space and allows for much easier network sharing of sw macros without the need to add each macro the individual users toolbars, which is very time consuming. find the tool
nice, thanks
it just gives me an error. any body else have this problem?

it is not a macro it is a program if that is what you mean. it is totally separate from solidworks and runs on startup or from the start menu->programs->angelsix->swtools.
once it is running you have a system tray icon that you double click to show all buttons
update: also, made slight improvements to the design; you now only have to single click the icon in the tray, the buttons have a popup appearance instead of flat so you can tell when you hover over them, the background of the buttons fills with white instead of transparent if the images are smaller, and the button size is correct for 32x32 pixel images now (was previously 2px too small).
update: i have also just updated the image loading so that the tool does not lock image access and you can edit images while the program is running (saves having to exit the app on every users machine to update images).
