dimensioning drafted plastic parts
hi all,
is there a recommended way to call out dimensions on plastic parts that have a draft on them?
like for instance distance between two surface that are drafted. the way i have done is to call it out from the point where my draft starts (neutral plane)but since the angle is so small, it is hard to make out where the extension line is from.
appreciate your comments....
thanks in advance

the method we employed at my company is to label "- draft" and "+ draft" on dimensions, with minus used on a dim that is at the start of the neutral plane, and plus if the dim is used to represent other end of the feature (far end from the neutral plane). i think we got this terminology from some source, but i couldn't tell you what that source is.
