The "RPS" best fit alignment is showing when press ok (ERROR IN AXX; XX is the number of the alignment)
Steps to reproduce:
measure 3 circles in each circles enter the nominal value. Go to the best fit alignment and select 3D and select the 3 circles in your list. Then lock Z in the 2nd circle center and lock Y, Z in the 3rd circle and press OK.
Results:
Error in A XX appears (XX is the number of the alignment).
Expected Results:

Hi Jean-Philippe, it is working correctly. For a best fit alignment from three 3D circles you must use all axes for all features. For some reason you had used all axes for the first feature but ony two axes for the second and only one for the third. All three circles must be adjusted in all axes. Then you get the correct alignment.

There is a separate RPS alignment dialog that I think you meant to use call iterative alignments. Please select this button and then you can select all three circles for the first axis (z) then two circles fo rthe second (x) and then one for the third (y). This also works well.

Hi Bill, please find attached a part program with auto features circles with 3 example points for each. The problem still here, and I'm in English language.

Hi Jean-Philippe, This sounds like a mistake on your part. In the program, there is no example of this failing alignment, but i did notice that all the circles are 2D circles when you need 3D circles to do this best fit alignment. Please use a sheet metal circle with sample hits or the new edge hit circles. This will give you 3D center points that can be fitted against 3D nominal points. Please re-try this with 3D features and then if there is still a problem, attach the part program here.

I would be happy to look at this, but I would like to have the part program that was used.
