By the way, I heard UG has a plan to integrate a NC measurement module into CAD/CAM system (UG software) because you have received customer requirement about measurement. First of all, UG need to add a measurement definition project into their system. There are a few works in 3D model as below.
1) Add measured feature types.
2) Change GD&T association (link these required measured features).
3) Output IP file (specified IP language which defined by measurement software).
This measurement definition project is a common or same project between CAD and CMM. It is easier to do this work for UG. But it is a big step for the initial paperless goal that make measuring planner during design.
