System takes over half an hour to calculate Profile of 40 to 60 points

Customer has 2 ?1000 arms, 1 - 3000i, and 1 ?Infinite.  They are running PC-DMIS 4.1 With *.dll 2.475
When performing profile checks the system may take over half an hour to finish a calculation of 40 points or the system will crash.  Customer sets up an alignment then does a distance scan selecting the CAD entities.  They also have point mode enabled.  Then they take all the points and build a Set.  Then do the Form only profile on the set.  In the Status window you will see it cycle through all the points over and over until it finishes or crashes.  It also did this when performing a Best fit alignment a few times.

Looking at your debug file I see that you have
  Option/IterateAndRePierceCadOnBestFitAlignments
set to TRUE.  
You don't have
   Option/IterateAndRePierceCadOnBestFitAlignmentsMaxLoops
set so this will default to 100.
You also don't have
   Option/IterateAndRePierceCadOnBestFitAlignmentsTolerance InMM
set so this will default to 20mm.  This should be something slightly larger than the tip diameter (e.g., tip diameter + 0.1mm).
Repiercing cad will greatly slow down form only profile since this uses a 2d bestfit (also explains issues with the 2d bestfit alignment).  We would recommend turning off the repierce cad option unless you really intended to do that.  You will have to use the SettingsEditor.exe to do this.  If you really want to repierce cad, then you should set the MaxLoops and ToleranceInMM options to realistic values.

The debug files are not on the server.  In fact, I looked directly at the server array1 drive and there are no files for this PR (there is not even a directory entry for this PR), even though the File Attachments button shows that there are two debug files.
Could you please re-attach your files.  It would be helpful if you could also get the customer's program since often problems are related to a particular sequence of commands in the customer's program.
