FCF dialog: Selecting features via 'Search ID:' doesn't really select the feature
<< Anders Isaksson -- 10/19/07 12:56:15>>
In the FCF dialog, I can select features by entering their name in the Search ID: edit box and pressing TAB. This is much faster than trying to find an ID in the diminutive scrolling list.
Unfortunately, a feature selected in this way isn't really selected - it only looks like it (see picture1).
Depending on the type of dimension, I can then get an error message (picture 2) or a malformed program instruction (picture 3 & 4)
Steps to reproduce:
Select features in the FCF dialog *without* clicking with the mouse in the Features list.
Results:
The features *look* selected, but they aren't.
Expected Results:
The features should be selected, for real.

Visual feedback should have a correlation to reality. If keyboard selection of features isn't supposed to work, it shouldn't trigger the visual feedback that indicates that it does work. If keyboard selection is supposed to work, there's a bug.
