turning belt at the right angle position
hi~!
i am trying to build a machine that discharges objects to a certain area(that is discharge belt)
through this link, you can see the whole drawing of the machine.
some type of tripper mechanism may work - an arm mounted to ground would move a lever on the carrier which in turn would rotate the belt.
you could also use a mechanical tripper to knock things off of the carriers without having a belt on the carriers at all...
if you "heard" it on the internet, it's guilty until proven innocent. - dcs
thank you very much for your advise, swearingen~!
i am in a situation that i must use belt on the carriers, because i am intending to transfer objects from carrier to a certain discharge area without any damage. so, i figured it would be the most ideal to transfer objects from belt mechanism to belt mechanism.
could you please advise me more specific with the tripper mechanism? frankly speaking, i don't understand using arm mounted on ground would move a lever on the carrier and rotate the individual belt on the carrierd.
i must pull this off, please please help me~!
dsesmg,
structural engineers are not going to be much help to you. what you need is a materials handling engineer, which is a branch of mechanical engineering. i don't know if there is much help on this site for materials handling queries. |
