Position Summary:
This position is for a senior software engineer who will work in the Wilcox China team. You are required to develop new features, enhance existing functionalities, solve customer’s problems and/or fix bugs (if any) in Wilcox’ software products, such as the world’s top one 3D metrology software, PC-DMIS. You are also expected to work closely with Wilcox’s software development teams worldwide (USA and Europe). You may be required to make business trips to USA and Europe.



Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

n        Design, code, test and troubleshoot software features based on the correct understanding of the software requirements and specifications.

n        Deliver new modules, new code and/or software solutions with a high level of quality and customer satisfaction.

n        May perform software testing and problem resolution for other teams.

n        Provide input to technical documentation and publications.

n        Effectively communicate with US and European teams by all possible means, such as email, telephone and video conference.



Requirements:

n        Bachelor Degree or higher in Computer Science or other engineering related areas.

n        3+ years experience in coding with Microsoft Visual C# and C++.

n        3+ years experience in Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2003/2005.

n        2+ years development of GUI design, layout and customization.

n        Strong analysis, problem-solving and negotiation skills.

n        Ability to work on multiple complex projects simultaneously.

n        Good English skills in verbal and text communication.

n        Experience in the development of large scale software systems is a plus.

n        Experience in Coordinate Metrology is a plus.

n        Experience in 3D CAD modeling is a plus.
