addtoolbar3
i downloaded some samples which was using "addtoolbar3"
i'm now runing sw2007 on my system and addtoolbar3 seems to be used for the old release(s)
question is: addtoolbar4 can be replaced addtoolbar3?

did you check api help? it says that addtoolbar4 replaces addtoolbar3.

yes, i saw it in the aip help
i thought they would be the same
however, when i replace addtoolbar3 with addtoolbar4, the custom toolbar was disappeared. still not sure what i am doing wrong here

there is no reason why the toolbar should disappear by changing from r3 to r4, double check your code or post it here so we can take a look for you

i meant more of the code to see if there are any general mistakes or errors
well... i used the sample from the api download site and changed from addtoolbar3 to 4
