anyone has any good tutorials on for creating/installing custom addins?
i'm looking for any tutorials on how to create and install custom addins. i downlaoded the template from solidworks website, installed it into visual studio 2005. i also have a presentation i attended at solidworks world 2007 that i attended, but its not very detailed.
does anyone have a good tutorial on how to create a basic addin? i'm also looking for a tutorial on how you create an install package for the addin so users can easily add it to solidworks.
any help would be greatly appreciated.
thanks.

the install package is not simple at all. however, for creating and understanding basic add-ins my book covers it in the last chapter. it has just been released
i posted the same quesion before and got no response !!!
i don't know if there is any sw developer engineer currently providing helps on this website.
for autodesk inventor api forum, there are 2 autodesk engineers (sanjay and brian) who are on the forum almost everyday to answer or provide snip codes. in addition, the others developer engineers might be on/off the group.
it should be nice if we get the same service as with autodesk inventor.
peer-to-peer help is good but it'd be verey helpful if we would get more info from sw development team. who knows this stuff better than these engineers????
thx, chris
