is it possible to export a dxf with different color geometry?
when we export a dxf file that needs etching, we have to open the dxf in dwg editor and manually change the etch marks to blue line color. sigmanest, our laser program, see the blue lines as etch marks. we name the etch sketches in the model "etch1". is it possible to export certain geometry as a different color?

i use a .dxf map file for layer / color/ linetype of .slddrw files now. i would like to know if anyone knows how to export .sldprt or .slddrw part features to specific layers named per feature name to a .dxf? (example: .sldprt has extrude1, extrude2 and cut1) would like to export 2d views with each feature on layer with same name). possible api macro examples are welcome.
