just modify the select all faces on part example (vb) example and change the select function to alter the color instead by using face2::getmaterialpropertyvalues2 and face2::setmaterialpropertyvalues2 respectively. always helps to read the api help file first.

you can edit the macro posted by ben to change the colour.

mohamed,
find attached the macro modified to allow you to input rgb values.
ben,
i presume you wrote this little macro? if so would you mind if i posted the modified macro on a6 repository and quoted you as the original creator? i think some people may find this one useful.
yup go ahead and post it. i can't really remember if i wrote it, just modified it or just downloaded it. it has been a long time ago.

i have a macro that resets all face colors. it is part of the vb6 addin project that can be found at
i wrote a macro for trimech a few years ago that removes the color from all faces in the model. with minimal changes you could have it apply a new color.
