need help with needle design with two outlets
i am currently designing a needle with two outlets that are opposite each other, with the same diameter. i have the evaluation version of floworks and was wondering if there was any possible way to make a lid that would cover both sides and simulate flow out of the holes?
i've tried to make a lid by making a part that is large enough to fit across the od of the needle , but it the program doesn't seem to like it.
any tips would be great!
needle ??? (valve, bearing, hypodermic, space, sewing, knitting, pine, ???)
sorry if this response needles you, but i hope you get the ummm, point ... i think we may needle more information ... or an image.
fair enough haha. i'll upload an image tomorrow.
i would place your needle into another cylinder, slightly larger than the od of your needle to provide a fluid path. if it is the same size there won't be a path.
"art without engineering is dreaming; engineering without art is calculating."
is the question about how to model the part, how to create the flow in floworks, or fea?
i'm not clear.

here is the picture. i'm concerned about the flow in floworks.
thanks for your patience and your advice!
