Tighten Location in One Direction With a Separate Requirements
Callout.
When using composite tolerancing,
the second segment tightens the location between
features in the pattern. As shown in the last Tip, if
datum references are repeated in the second (lower) segment,
the orientation of the pattern is tightened to the value
specified in that segment. A feature control frame containing
one geometric characteristic symbol, such as position, and two
tolerances as shown, indicates a composite
tolerance.
