hi,
is there in dwgdirect some method, sysvar, or anything else that can return the last appended oddbentity in a given database.
in arx such function was acdbentlast.

to my knowledge there no such. but you can retrieve and iterator for the block (*model_space or *paper_space) and traverse to the end.
yes, i've already done this, but forgot to post the info.
i was really blind just not to call newiterator(false).
