i totally agree with you, very good news.
i'd like to thank all dwgdirect stuff for their
efforts (and results), i know they only make their job, but i think that a well done job must be explicitly appreciated.

what is the status of the release for dwgdirect for autocad 2004?

we have made a 2004-compatible beta available to a few founding members already, and we are preparing for a full release within the next few weeks. a notice will be posted here when it is available.


thats great neil - am i correct in believing the r16 kit will be source compatible with dwgdirect 1.06?

there will be a few minor changes (some colors stored as indexes will be changed to an object type for rgb color support), but other than that it will be fully compatible with 1.06. we don't expect there to be any problems with the upgrade in this respect.
