circle and arc rendering issue
circle and arc rendering issue hello, in the attached file, i am getting entites that calls circleproc(center, radius, normal, extrusion). as dd returns all the co-ordinates in wcs, i render all of them as circles(also, as they are full circles negative normal or positive normal does not affect the direction of the arc as i render the full circle). if i do not handle the circleproc and just call the geometry simplifier they are rendered correct. i have attached a snapshot of the circles (within the blue boxes) that i get when i render all the circleproc entities. does extrusion have to be taken into consideration or are they already applied? also, i did not have this issue with the version 1.12.04 but happens with 1.13 on this attached file. do you know what could cause this behaviour? thanks. attached images it seems like you are assuming that normal always is parallel to z-axis. circleproc is not necessary lies in plane parallel to screen plane. isn't it key to your issue? circleproc, like all functions that have parameter pextrusion, must take pextrusion into consideration. sincerely yours, george udov |
