crash when using wblockcloneobjects
crash when using wblockcloneobjects
there is a crash happened when we used wblockcloneobjects function.
the source dwg file is very simple,there is a blockreference in it,is this the reason caused crash?
the source dwg have listed as follow.
we used dwgdirect 2.04.01.

i entered defect 4613 for this into our defect tracking system:
btw, our bugzilla is available for entering defects by members (login info is the same as for accessing member's area at our web site). entering defects directly into bugzilla saves the time especially with the steps to reproduce situation in one of our samples.
another advantage is that the person entered a bug into bugzilla automatically gets e-mail notifications if status of defect changes.

unicode problem?
the dwg file we used has xdata,and the xdata have chinese characters.
does od computer the wrong length of the characters,which makes memery problem?
is this the reason of the crash?
i just guess from the dwg.

yes wrong length calculation was the reason of memory corruption while processing xdata. fixed.

how to get it
the bug have been fiexed.
how can we get the new version of it?the whole version or serveral dlls or libs.
one of our project need to resolve this problem.
we come from china,we are one member of opendesign.

founding members having access to source code can build a fixed set of libraries next day after a bug is fixed. other (non-founding) members need to wait for next maintenance release.
2.4.2 date is not scheduled yet. where were plans to release it by the end of september but maybe it will happen sooner.
