i have a "degenerate geometry" error with some dwg file .... ?
this files are correctly open whith autocad or voloview but not with odamfcapp.

please attach this file - we'll look into the problem.

file you post has problems (floating post exceptions) with dd 1.13. i fixed these problems. next release/update will be able to load and render this file with no problems.
i haven't reproduced any "degenerate geometry" exceptions. are you use dd 1.13?
btw, only open design alliance employees are able to download attachments from forum. open design alliance treats client files as confidential, so you can post problem files on forum.

yes i use 1.13 (vc++6), with odamfcapp i have also a floating post exceptions but with my application it's just a "degenerate geometry" exceptions.
have you a date for the next release?
sorry for the ftp download, but i can't send this drawing in the forum because it's copywrite protected. it's possible to send you directly in the futur ?

interesting... which one 1.13 do you use - 1.13.02, 1.13.03 or something other?
where edegenerategeometry exception is thrown from? (which one dd function)
no need in being sorry. the single thing i was wanting to tell - it is not a problem to post on forum copyrighted files, because only open design alliance employees can download them.

with my application, i think is the 1.13.00 because in the ddversion.h i have that :
