can you please explain the error saving document / not that kind of class message.
i simply open a dwg file with the odamfcapp sample and try to save it. this happens even with the standard autocad sample drawings.
i can save the drawing as r12 ok.

i also am receiving the same error message ("not that kind of class") when trying to save a file to an earlier program version.

in the file attached model layout has invalid plot view handle (it's actually the handle of polyfacemeshvertex instead of viewtablerecord).
in r13-r15 dwg files and in dxf this is stored as name string. dd throws the exception as a result of attempt to use this handle to get viewtablerecord name.
we'll fix dd to not crash but the file is invalid.
