this happens loading a dwg file, but it does not happen in odamfcapp
does it happen while loading some specific file by your application? and odamfcapp loads the file ok?
are you sure libraries you are using and odamfcapp are of the same version?

the version is the same, but...
oda uses ms vc++ 2003.net, and my project uses borland builder with the wm libraries.
can you attach a problematic file?
