hi,
i'm trying to improve my own osnap manager.
are geomextents calculated at every call of getgeomextents method?
it's very slow with big oddbblockreference.
is it possible to force update of geomextents at regen of odgsview only ?

yes.
we thought about caching extents for block references, but it's pretty hard task to maintain the cache up-to-date. it should not be related to gs regenerating.
anyway, if you would describe your task and faced problem more detailed we probably could suggest some workaround.
