help!! 3d block rendering colour ?
help!! 3d block rendering colour ? hi everyone, is it possible to change the default rendering colour when rendering a 3d block using direct3d ? i'll try to explain my problem in better detail: i have some dwg files containing 3d objects created with autocad inventor. these objects must be combined to obtain a new object. every single inventor object is created with a standard colour. but these objects can be paintend using different ral colours (same colour for each block). is it possible to specify a dfferent rendering colur to the library ? i hope my explanation is clear enough... thank you everyone! carlo. if an entity inside a block has byblock color it is rendered with the color of block reference entity. so you can have different block insertions of the same block rendered with different colors. sergey slezkin quote: originally posted by sergey slezkin if an entity inside a block has byblock color it is rendered with the color of block reference entity. so you can have different block insertions of the same block rendered with different colors. ah, ok... very simple indeed i didn't realize that this rule was valid also for 3d rendering objects ... thank you very much sergey!! carlo. |
