hi everyone,
is it possible to change the default rendering colour when rendering a 3d block using direct3d ?
i'll try to explain my problem in better detail:
i have some dwg files containing 3d objects created with autocad inventor.
these objects must be combined to obtain a new object.
every single inventor object is created with a standard colour.
but these objects can be paintend using different ral colours (same colour for each block).
is it possible to specify a dfferent rendering colur to the library ?
i hope my explanation is clear enough...

if an entity inside a block has byblock color it is rendered with the color of block reference entity.
so you can have different block insertions of the same block rendered with different colors.

i didn't realize that this rule was valid also for 3d rendering objects ...
