how to change thickness of ttf text
how to change thickness of ttf text hi, i am using dd 1.14.02 i want to print a drawing containing text in ttf and text in shx. if i set the same thickness for all the entities (with a .ctb), text in ttf are thicker than shx text. is there a way to change thickness of ttf without changing thickness of the other entities of a drawing ? thanks in advance for the help. _________ regards, ben in 2d-optimized mode ttf text rendered by dd is a bit "bolder" because dd renders not only filled area of ttf characters but outline too. outlines are required to prevent text from disappearing if triangles forming the filled area get too small. btw, autocad draws ttf text outlines too in rendering modes other than 2d-optimized. sergey slezkin thank you sergey for your reply. i was searching a solution for my problem. in my drawing, i have shx and ttf text, if i print it, ttf are bolder than shx (as you say). i try dd 2.02.00, in exgdivectorizeview:ntraitsmodified, i change only ttf lineweight (-2 pixels), if i do that it works ! ttf and shx thickness seems to be the same. i can't reproduce it with dd 1.14.02... do i have to upgrade my software with dd 2.02.00 or is there a solution that i did'nt find ? thanks, ________ best regards, ben please note that autocad in other than 2d wireframe modes uses lineweight for ttf outlines. see file attached. as for upgrading to 2.2: 1.14 does not support ac2007 files. sergey slezkin |
