how to get overall info about file contents without loading
how to get overall info about file contents without loading complete database
hai,
i wan to get details about overall structure of file contents (not getting into in details about entity representation).(i don抰 want to load complete database).documentation reads, partial load will give this fecility.can any one explain how does partial load works regarding loading database.

if partial loading is used minimal ammount of data is loaded in readfile(). most objects are not loaded into memory. if an object is accessed it gets loaded (the data is actually read from file inside openobject() function).
this process is absolutely transparent for client code. you need not care if the drawing was loaded partially or not.
for dxf and dwg r12 full loading is always performed.
